No file handy?
1. Columns to read
Pick the columns that help decide. They're read in the order you click them.
Numbers and dates can help, but they're less useful than text: they're read as words, so there's no math or date comparison. Include a text column for the best results.
2. What to decide for each row
3. Review
Preview first to check the results. Previews are free and don't count toward your daily limit.
Not quite right? Reword the question, describe the categories more clearly, or choose different columns, then preview again.
Preparing your file…
Your file is ready
Always free. For your privacy, we don't keep anything: your file and results are deleted automatically within an hour.
Contact forms, waitlists and event registrations fill up with ads, scam links and keyboard-mash test entries. Cleaning the list by hand before importing it into your email tool or CRM is tedious, and simple keyword filters miss a lot.
Ask a yes/no question, such as whether the entry is spam, and every row gets a Yes or No with the probability behind it. Entries in the uncertain middle are flagged for you to check instead of being deleted automatically.
How to do it
- Export your form submissions or sign-up list as CSV or Excel.
- Select the name and message columns and choose "Yes or no". Describe what counts as spam for you.
- Preview, then download and filter on the Spam column before importing the clean rows elsewhere.
Example
Real results from the sample file (form submissions). The last row shows a case the model wasn't sure about, flagged for you to check:
| Message | Spam | Probability of yes | Needs review |
|---|---|---|---|
| Looking forward to trying the budgeting tool! | No | 6% | |
| Earn 500% in 7 days, join t.me/cryptoking now | Yes | 99% | |
| Just exploring. | No | 34% | Yes |
Tips for better results
- Spell out what Yes means: ads, scams, adult content, gibberish, test entries. The clearer the definition, the cleaner the result.
- Phrase the question so Yes means spam. Questions like "Is this free of spam?" are easier to get wrong.
- Raise the "needs review" cut-off if deleting a real person by mistake would be costly.
Questions
Will it delete anything?
No. It only adds columns to your file. You decide what to remove, for example by filtering on Spam = Yes.
Can it check email addresses?
It can read them, but it judges text, not whether a mailbox exists. Use an email verification service for deliverability checks.
What about borderline entries?
Rows where the probability is in the middle are marked "needs review", so you can look at those few instead of the whole list.
